Embodying the concept of fine Italian dining in a stylish and comfortable space, Cucina is an Italian tratorria located at the Hotel Missoni on Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile that welcomes its guests with good home cooked food served in a creative and lively ambience. The restaurant's striking interiors blend vibrant colours and bold geometric patterns with beautiful black and white chequered seating in a bright and airy space.
 
The menu reflects the bold, imaginative decor and features a contemporary selection of Italian dishes made from seasonal and fresh ingredients. Prepared by Head Chef Mattia Camorani, the al a carte menu includes antipasti of pan fried scallops with cauliflower puree and sweet sour sauce, capocollo traditional dry-cured pork - served with a rocket salad and a selection of cured meats. Main courses include homemade pasta dishes such as tagliatelle with traditional pork ragout and paccheri with prawn guazetto while meat and fish dishes make use of local produce such as Scottish salmon and venison.

Baked pear, quince and ricotta parfait, Italian speciality of tiramisu and a selection of homemade ice creams make for some tempting desserts.
