Blue has survived the re-entry stage and is now well established as one of the fun places to eat in Edinburgh's theatre quarter. Poised above Atrium, and another living testimony to the durability of the brasserie concept, Blue offers a value for money menu which takes no prisoners when it comes to imagination. A starter of cream of spinach soup, with nutmeg and mascarpone sets the tone and thereafter it can be anything from sandwiches through to a cornfed chicken dish with leek risotto and bacon dressing.
